Product Description

The Cort Yorktown is an outstandingly crafted traditional hollow-body electric guitar. It delivers a big, warm, and full-bodied tone. With its old-world construction, it creates that mellow 'jazz-box' sound. The guitar features an arched spruce top, maple back and sides, and a set maple neck. Other highlights include a floating bridge with fine-tuning ability, an elegant harp tailpiece, block inlays on the fretboard, vintage-style tuners, and a pair of ClassicRocker-II humbuckers. These humbuckers offer the sweet vintage tone of specially wound Alnico, ideal for this model. Specifications: Body Material - Spruce (Top), Maple (Back & Sides); Body Colour - Tobacco Burst; Fretboard Material - Ovangkol; Fretboard Radius - 12' (305mm); Scale Length - 24.75' (628mm); No. of Frets - 20; Fretboard Inlays - Rectangular White Pearl; Pickup(s) - Voiced Tone VTH-59; Bridge - Tune-O-Matic Bridge & C-Harp Tailpiece; Strings - D'Addario® EXL110; Tuning Machines - Vintage Style; Hardware Finish - Nickel; Case - Gig Bag.

Using your Cort Yorktown electric guitar is a breeze. Just plug it into an amplifier and start strumming. To get the best sound, adjust the tone and volume knobs on the guitar according to your preference. When tuning, use the vintage-style tuning machines carefully to keep the strings in the right pitch. For maintenance, wipe the guitar body with a soft cloth after each use to keep it clean. Don't expose the guitar to extreme temperatures or humidity as it can damage the wood. Also, check the strings regularly and replace them when they start to wear out. Store the guitar in the provided gig bag when not in use to protect it from scratches and dust.
