This is a limited - edition vinyl LP of Dexter Gordon's Clubhouse from the Blue Note Tone Poet Series. The American jazz tenor saxophone legend released this studio album in 1979 via Blue Note Records. Produced by Alfred Lion, it was recorded at Van Gelder Studio on May 27, 1965. Recorded during Gordon's career renaissance after signing with Blue Note in 1961, he's joined by Freddie Hubbard on trumpet and a top - notch rhythm section including Barry Harris on piano, Bob Cranshaw on bass, and Billy Higgins on drums. The label is Blue Note Records, and it was released in 2019. Track list includes 'Hanky Panky', 'I'm a Fool to Want You', 'Devilette', 'Clubhouse', 'Jodi', and 'Lady Iris B'.
