Product Description
This is a vinyl LP of Archive Series Vol.5: Tallahassee by Iron & Wine. It's the long - lost debut album. The songs were recorded three years before his official Sub Pop debut, The Creek Drank the Cradle in 2002. At that time, Iron & Wine didn't exist yet, and Sam Beam was at Florida State University aiming for a film career. Tallahassee marks the start of Sam Beam's journey to becoming one of America's most unique singer - songwriters. Except for one track, these recordings have been on a hard drive for twenty years. The track 'In Your Own Time' was shared with Ben Bridwell, which later became well - known. It was included in Mike McGonigal's 2001 best - songs mix CD. Now, here's the full story. Label: Sub Pop. Release Year: 2021. Track List: 1. Why Hate The Winter; 2. This Solemn Day; 3. Loaning Me Secrets; 4. John's Glass Eye; 5. Calm On The Valley; 6. Ex - Lover Lucy Jones; 7. Elizabeth; 8. Show Him The Ground; 9. Straight And Tall; 10. Cold Town; 11. Valentine.
Using this vinyl record is easy. Just place it on your turntable and let the needle gently drop on the groove. As it spins, you'll enjoy the warm, rich sound of Iron & Wine's early work. When handling the vinyl, make sure your hands are clean to avoid leaving fingerprints or dirt on the surface. After each use, store the vinyl in its sleeve and keep it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. This will help preserve the quality of the record and ensure you can enjoy it for years to come.
