Product Description

The X500 has been reborn with a modern look and feature upgrades, evolving into the new X500 Menace. It's darker, more aggressive, and a perfect fit for metal and extreme music guitarists. With a neck-thru-body design, it offers excellent sustain and easy access to high frets. The guitar now combines a popular maple top with a mahogany body, a reverse headstock, a 7-piece Maple / Purple Heart / Panga Panga neck, and a compound radius fingerboard. It also comes with a FloydRose® 1000 Series tremolo and a Seymour Duncan® Sentient & Nazgul Humbucker set, providing great playability, sound quality, and the menacing presence that extreme genre guitarists crave. Specifications: Body Material - Solid Maple (Top), Mahogany (Back & Side); Body Finish - Open Pore; Fretboard Material - Ebony; Fretboard Radius - 12'-15.75' Compound Radius; Scale Length - 25.5' (648mm); No. of Frets - 24; Fretboard Inlays - White Dot; Pickups - Seymour Duncan® Nazgul (Bridge), Seymour Duncan® Sentient (Neck); Bridge - Original FloydRose® Tremolo; Strings - D’Addario® EXL120; Tuning Machines - Die-Cast Tuners; Hardware Finish - Black.

Using this Cort X500-Menace electric guitar is a breeze. First, tune it up using the die - cast tuners. Make sure to use the D’Addario® EXL120 strings for the best sound. When you start playing, the compound radius fingerboard allows for smooth movement of your fingers up and down the neck. The Seymour Duncan® pickups give you a great range of tones, so you can experiment with different settings to find your unique sound. As for the FloydRose® tremolo, use it gently to add effects without going overboard. For maintenance, keep the guitar in a dry place. Wipe it down regularly with a soft cloth to remove dust and fingerprints. If you notice the frets getting dull or the strings losing their tone, it might be time to replace them. Also, check the tuning machines and bridge periodically to ensure they're in good working condition.
