Using your D’Addario Auto Lock Guitar Strap is easy. First, find the guitar strap buttons on your electric, acoustic, or bass guitar. Then, simply slide the end of the strap over these buttons. The grey spring - loaded latch will automatically clamp down and lock the strap in place. When you want to remove the strap, just push up on the grey latch and slide the end off. Keep in mind that although this strap works with most strap buttons on the market, it may not work with all designs. Specifically, it won't work with end pin jacks or plastic strap buttons. To maintain your strap, keep it away from sharp objects that could cut or scratch the leather. Wipe it with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and dirt. If it gets wet, let it air - dry naturally. This will help your strap stay in good condition and last a long time.
