Product Description

The legendary Joe Strummer played guitar with raw energy and passion, his every strum like a sharp - edged knife. As an icon of Punk culture, he and his Clash bandmates pioneered punk rock, inspiring countless bands. The Joe Strummer Signature single - coil '60s Telecaster pickups let you capture the classic Tele® twang and growl that made his songs unforgettable. These Road Worn® pickups mimic the look of a well - loved vintage instrument. The Alnico 5 magnets and polysol wire add focus and dynamics. Features include polysol - coated magnet wire, vintage staggered pole pieces for balanced output, Alnico 5 magnets for better focus, vinyl - coated output wire, nylon bobbins, and installation hardware. Specifications: SS configuration, Alnico 5 magnet type, polysol - coated magnet wire, 6.4k DC resistance (Bridge) and 6.8k (Neck), 2.38H inductance (Bridge) and 1.8H (Neck), nylon bobbin material, vinyl - covered lead wire, staggered unbeveled pole pieces, vintage tone and output.

Using these pickups is easy. First, install them with the included hardware following the standard Telecaster pickup installation process. When you play, you'll notice the classic Tele twang right away. For the best sound, adjust your guitar's amplifier settings according to your preference. As for maintenance, keep the pickups clean. Wipe them gently with a soft, dry cloth to prevent dust buildup. Avoid exposing them to extreme temperatures and humidity as this can affect the magnets and the wire. If you're not using the guitar for a long time, store it in a suitable case to protect the pickups.
