Thanks to the success of Aura Imaging Technology, guitar makers approached Fishman to create an Aura system for their high - end acoustic - electric guitars. The Aura Pro is the answer and is now accessible to guitarists worldwide. The onboard Aura systems come with Fishman’s Aura Image Gallery software, a PC/Mac - compatible app. It lets you access images for hundreds of guitar brands and models via Fishman's free Aura Image library. After installing it on your PC or Mac, you can sort, manage, and group Aura Images. You can then load Aura Images into the preamp via a USB cable. Key features include an onboard preamp with Fishman’s Aura Acoustic Imaging Technology, the ability to download up to four Aura Images from the included software, pickup/image blend control, volume and EQ controls, fully - programmable digital equalization, feedback - fighting phase control, a digital chromatic tuner, automatic anti - feedback, a low battery indicator, and a unique pivot design for easy 9 - Volt battery access. The system includes an Acoustic Matrix® undersaddle pickup (available in wide, narrow or split formats) and a Switchjack stereo endpin jack. Professional installation is recommended. Specifications: Format is PRO - MAN - P81, Narrow Format 3/32” (2.3mm) width. The undersaddle pickup with a standard length of 2.65” (67.3 mm) fits most guitars with 2.5” (63.5 mm) string spacings. It runs on a 9 - Volt battery with a 27 - hour battery life. Dimensions are 1.75” (W) x 2.58” (H) / 44.5mm (W) x 65.5mm (H).
Using the Fishman Aura Pro Onboard Narrow Format Acoustic Guitar Preamp System is a breeze. First, make sure to have it professionally installed. Once it's in your guitar, connect your PC or Mac to download and manage Aura Images through the included Aura Image Gallery software. You can load up to four Aura Images via a USB cable to customize your sound. Adjust the volume, bass, middle, and treble controls according to your preference. The pickup/image blend control allows you to mix the natural sound of your guitar's pickup with the Aura Images. The digital chromatic tuner helps you keep your guitar in tune. When it comes to the battery, the system uses a 9 - Volt battery. Thanks to the unique pivot design, you can quickly access and replace it when the low - battery indicator lights up. The battery should last about 27 hours. As for maintenance, keep the system clean and dry. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or moisture.
